WEDDING CEREMONIES

The Museum of Boulder’s Rooftop Terrace offers couples a one-of-a-kind wedding setting in the heart of downtown Boulder, featuring sweeping views of the Flatirons rising above Chautauqua Meadow. Designed for intimate celebrations, our rooftop combines the beauty of an open-air ceremony with the reassurance of an indoor weather backup – so you can plan with confidence.
We specialize in intimate rooftop weddings for up to 98 guests, ideal for couples seeking a relaxed, Boulder-centric experience rather than a traditional all-inclusive venue.

Weather Backup & Rain Plan
The Museum of Boulder offers an indoor backup space, the Lodge, located on the second floor of the museum. In the event of inclement weather, ceremonies can be relocated indoors, allowing couples to plan with confidence.
The Lodge is best suited for groups of up to approximately 80 guests for seated ceremonies. For larger guest counts, indoor ceremonies may require a more flexible, cocktail-style or standing layout. Our team works closely with each couple to discuss guest flow and layout options so expectations are clear well in advance. Many couples find that having a flexible rain plan provides peace of mind, even if they ultimately never need to use it.
