Lin Hawkins has been an executive consultant, educator and coach since 1977, leading and developing workshops for all areas of business and nonprofit organizations. She has trained fundraisers, ombudsmen, union leaders, board members, physicians, clergy, government leaders and executives in leadership and communication. During her 30+ year career as an educator and consultant, Lin has also taught at Stanford Medical School, Case Western Reserve Medical School and medical residency programs, and she has served as Director of Medical Education at the Louis B. Stokes Veterans Administration Hospital. As a co-founder of Global Urban Development, an international NGO, she served on the Executive Board for 8 years, and currently serves on its’ Advisory Board. Ms. Hawkins facilitated bringing the Climate Prosperity Project through GUD to Silicon Valley, CA, and Denver. Most recently, Ms. Hawkins has worked with the Climate Action Summit in Boulder, Colorado. She also serves on the CU Foundation- Colorado Shakespeare Festival Advisory Board, executive committee and B R HOA as President. She participates also as a member of the Boulder Country Club. Her ongoing work in leadership with international corporations is focused on evolving stewardship, conscious conservation and efficiency. Ms. Hawkins continues to maintain a private practice, consulting NPOs and corporations.
Her MA(s) are in Public Administration and Non-Profit Management and Administration. She is a member of the PAA Honor Society. Currently residing with her husband Dr. Matthew Hawkins in Boulder, Colorado, she enjoys following the endeavors of their four sons. She is a University of Colorado-Boulder alumna.
