As a part of our Open Studios Exhibit, open Sept. 22 – Oct. 23, students can come and hear what it’s like to organize an art exhibit and even have a chance to speak with some of the artists featured in the gallery. Cindy Sepucha is the director of Open Studios as well as being an artist herself. Go behind the scenes to learn more about the exhibit, how Open Studios focuses on featuring local artists, and hear from artists about the works they’ve contributed.

Find the perfect costume for your performance! Dig through our collection of historic artifacts and costumes for just the right look.  Clothes must be returned laundered

National History Day exhibit formatting presentations or consultations

Cost: $20 donation

Length: 20-50 minutes

Bring a curator to your class to share tips for exhibit layout, format, mounting and media treatment. Also available for one-on-one consultation with students. Get tips on mounting, formatting, layout, artifact display and giving your exhibit a “wow” factor.

National History Day in-class help with research and project development

Cost: Free

Length: Flexible

Schedule a research day with Museum of Boulder volunteer support at your school. Please schedule at least one month in advance.

Volunteer judges for your school’s History Day competition

Cost: Free

Length: Flexible

Need judges for your school’s competition? Our staff and volunteers would love to come to your school to judge the competition. We will provide knowledgeable volunteers who work well with kids and will offer constructive critiques while fostering a love of history.
