Young Professional DJs Summer Camp – AM Session

Young Professional DJ workshop is designed to provide youth a positive outlet of expression through the art of DJing. Each day we will focus on a specific aspect of DJing, from getting familiar with the equipment, to mixing songs, sampling sounds, scratching records, crowd control, and more.All equipment will be provided for youth participants as well as the amazing space the Museum of Boulder holds for youth participants to experiment and explore with the tools of the DJ craft.
Our hands-on workshops include guest presentations from active professional DJs and our workshops always conclude with a rooftop showcase in which youth participants will have the opportunity to curate their own event, play their own original sets, and perform for a live audience.
Not only does this workshop teach skills in the art of DJing, but also this workshop teaches community organization, teamwork, music theory, sound engineering, performance, and how to make Djing a viable creative career. This workshop is perfect for youth who have an interest in music and a desire to learn how the art of DJing really works.

The AM session is from 9am to 12pm and the suggested age range is 11-14
The PM session is from 1pm to 4pm and the suggested age range is 15-17
