Boulder Conversations with Adam Bradley
April’s speaker is Adam Bradley, professor of English at CU and Director of the Laboratory for Race and Popular Culture. His most recent book, The Poetry of Pop, explores the poetic artistry of popular songs, from the Beatles to Beyoncè. He’ll unlock Boulder’s hidden—and not so hidden—history in popular music, from Jello Biafra to Jewel, Common to The Chainsmokers. In ways both big and small, Boulder figures in to the life and music of some of the world’s most captivating pop stars and the songs that made them famous.
