Sensory Friendly Free Day
December 10 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Join the Museum of Boulder for a Sensory Friendly Free Day! For many people with autism or other sensory processing disorders, a day at the Museum of Boulder can be overwhelming. We’re excited to offer a day where people with autism or other sensory processing needs and their families can explore the Museum with low noise and light levels, limited amounts of people, and resources such as a sensory break room and trained staff and volunteers.
From 9:30am-12:30pm, the Museum is free for neurodiverse children 10 years old and younger and their families, thanks to a generous grant from the Dodge Family Fund.
From 1pm-3:30pm, the Museum is free for neurodiverse teens and young adults and their families.
A visit to the Museum typically takes 1.5 – 2 hours, so feel free to arrive later than the official start time.
For both times, a reservation is required. Click here to reserve a spot.
